At Honda we embrace inclusion in our various policies, so whilst our contracts state that the hours are as required to fulfil the role with a minimum of 35 hours per week, we offer flexibility for when you work. The regular office hours are 08:00 – 16:00 Monday to Thursday with a half hour lunch break & 08:00 – 13:00 on a Friday. However, we offer flexibility of when you work with our daily flex-time start of between 07:00 and 11:00 providing that there is no business requirement.


Whilst there is no contractual right to work from home, the flexibility we offer is that you can request to work from home for a maximum of 50% of the working days in any one month, again providing there is no business requirement to attend the office.


Role:
This role is the lead Analyst for Direct Sales Operations in Honda Motor Europe (UK)’s Automotive business. You will deliver analytics, insights and recommendations that drive incremental volume, profit, and customer satisfaction through the sale of cars and complimentary revenue generating products sold within Honda’s sales model.



Main Responsibilities:

  • The lead Analyst for Retailer performance reporting in Honda Motor Europe UK’s Automotive division.
  • Through turning data into operational insights, you will contribute to the financial and volume performance of the UK business. You will identify key areas for improvement across a large range of channels including lead management, campaign strategies, sales support, and customer satisfaction, and drive measurable change through all parts of the Honda organisation.
  • You are a key player in determining and reporting Honda’s Direct Sales Operations KPI’s and goals, alongside significantly inputting into Honda’s future roadmap and approach.
  • You will support the implementation of Direct Sales Operations with on-going development and automation of dashboards and reporting which deliver against stakeholder requirements and analytical best practice.
  • You have a passion for research, and keep fully up to date with competitor activity, Retailer processes and opportunities in the Direct Sales space. You can turn these insights into meaningful business recommendations.
  • You are the leader of Direct Sales analytics with a significant pool of stakeholders, including Honda Motor Europe UK senior leadership team, IT, Field Team and our internal Associates. You must understand their specific needs, and work smartly to ensure you embed change that drives revenue, profit, Retailer performance and customer satisfaction.
  • You will work closely with the Marketing, Field and Direct Sales Operations team during to understand Retailer sales funnel performance.
  • You will be part of future and on-going report testing tasks to ensure our reporting delivers to the highest standard.
  • You are a customer first thinker responsible for commissioning and analysing customer and Retailer research which supports optimisation of the sales funnel.
  • Responsibility for all analytics and insights for Direct Sales and able to present to all levels of stakeholders simply, to drive and improve performance within the Retailer sales funnel.

Qualifications, skills and experience:
Required

  • An expert in analytics, with a proven ability to develop an analytics strategy from scratch.
  • Financially astute, with the ability to understand and influence the commercial drivers which have a positive impact on P&L.
  • In-depth understanding of analytic tools, in particular Salesforce reporting alongside other systems such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau. Ability to learn new reporting tools quickly in a complex fast paced environment.
  • Able to take insights from analytics and customers and propose future strategies.
  • A true passion for your discipline, with a clear understanding of future trends, and best practice.
  • Highly organised, analytical, and technically minded.
  • Proficient in various data analysis techniques and procedures and accustom to handling large data sets.
  • Excellent report writing and presentation abilities.
  • Able to orient data analytics insights with the end-user in mind.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with experience of delivering complex outputs to the most senior business stakeholders.

Desirable

  • D2C experience in a high-end consumer category.
