Engineering Manager, Contract Role, B2B, Hybrid Working - Buckinghamshire
Our client have a global presence and are a leader when it comes to delivering consumer goods through new and innovative channels. The have already disrupted the market with a number of future facing concepts that enable them to stay ahead of their competitors, grow their brand internationally and reach a wider customer base.
They are seeking a contract Engineering Manager to join the business who will:
- Manage 3 agile software engineering teams, that are each made up a number of squads (2 UK based, 1 overseas), circa total 20-25 staff,
- Work closely with senior stakeholders within the business and externally to drive key technological decisions
- Establish strong working relationships between software, hardware, cloud and product teams by encouraging collaboration and better working practice
- Operate at a high level with the business across strategy, product roadmap and technology
- Develop and delivery on a multi-year strategy
We are looking for someone who has:
- Background across Software Engineering and being technically hands on
- Strong agile experience
- Someone who has experience working within B2B
- Experience bringing together engineering teams across software and cloud
- Establishing strong working practices and engineering excellence within the business
- Ability to assess the current state of play and bring better synergy/ working relationships between departments. Ensuring everyone is working towards a shared goal
- Strong senior stakeholder management experience
This a hybrid working role, and initially requires a good level of visibility. You will need to be able to get to Buckinghamshire 2-3 days a week.
The client is unable to offer sponsorship. This is an Inside IR35 Contract Role.
