Our client is a leading private housing developer, who have a number of developments across central Scotland. They are looking to retain a Senior Engineer, to join their technical team, based in West Lothian.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage engineering projects within the housing sector, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
- Prepare detailed engineering designs using AutoCAD for residential developments, roads, and infrastructure.
- Oversee and coordinate road and infrastructure approvals, ensuring compliance with local and national regulations.
- Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and technical evaluations.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, local authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
- Prepare and review engineering reports, plans, and documentation.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications/Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Extensive experience in the housing sector with a strong focus on roads and infrastructure.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software.
- Demonstrated experience in obtaining roads and infrastructure approvals.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
