ROLE: Senior PCB Engineer

I am recruiting for a Senior PCB Engineer who is experienced in high speed layout design. You will ideally have medical industry hardware experience and appreciation for A/D. With various new project wins, this is a fantastic time to join my client.

Responsibilities:

PCB layout design of complex multilayer, high-speed digital, RF and analog boards with knowledge of board fabrication, assembly and test.

You will be part of the global PCB design team to perform minor schematic edits (footprint assignments etc.), placement, routing work, post processing work including silk screen and assembly reference designator placement, fabrication and assembly drawings and data package creation.

Work with a project manager to prepare customer quotes which include PCB design time estimates, assumptions and risks definitions.

Ability to work effectively with customers, Design Engineers, DfX Engineers, PCB fabrication personnel, manufacturing and test Engineering personnel to ensure a producible product.

Qualifications & Experience:

You will have a minimum HND or HNC in Electrical & Electronics Engineering. It would be desirable to hold a Masters or Bachelor Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

You will preferably have a minimum of 5 years' experience in PCB design

You will preferably have a minimum of 5 year experience in using one or more of the following tools;

o Cadence Allegro and Altium (Essential)

o Siemens (formally Mentor), PADS or Xpedition

You will possess good verbal and written communication skills
