SalaryRedline is working alongside an Essex-based client who are an industry renowned designer and developer of unique and advanced technology, in their search for a Contract Production Engineer.
Our client has a significant presence in various highly regulated industries operating across a wide range of different projects, including aerospace, defence, medical and communications. An innovator with exciting growth plans and due to several major project wins and significant investment, they are seeking a range of professional Contractors. The role will be suited to an experienced contractor who thrives on making an impact and who is able to take on a multitude of tasks in their role.
Key skills required, Contract Production Engineer, Essex:
- Previous experience in a Production Engineering within a highly sophisticated electro-mechanical environment.
- Documentation skills including process and standard operating procedures along with quality improvements.
- Previous process optimisation success with detecting areas of improvement in the manufacturing cycle.
- Ability to support a multi-functional team and aid in root cause problem solving.
- Able to maintain and improve quality standards through the manufacturing cycle.
- Previous experience working within industries such as defence, aerospace or a scientific environment.
Due to the nature of the work, BPSS clearance is required as a minimum with SC Clearance potentially being needed.
This role has an indicative INSIDE IR35 determination therefore candidates will be required to operate via an Umbrella company.
