Contracts Manager

The role:

Reporting to the Construction Director, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of 3-4 projects concurrently from input to tenders through construction phases to handover, through your construction teams.

Duties include: client liaison, programming of work, design development, management of site teams, ensuring company standards for health and safety, quality assurance, staffing, forecasting, coordination and progress meetings, reporting on progress, issue resolution.

The company:

This regional main contractor has an annual turnover in excess of £70m in the Berkshire, Oxfordshire, and Hampshire areas, with scope of works including education schools and colleges, small residential, commercial, industrial, scientific, etc.

This division focusses on new build and refurbishment projects in the range of £1m to £10m contract values.

Requiremets:

Ideally from a trades or engineering background, you will have extensive practical experience of managing traditional and design and build projects for a main contractor, and have progressed through the Site Manager / Project Manager route.

You will possess excellent contractual, commercial and technical construction knowledge, with the ability to plan, programme and drive the construction of projects through your site teams, whilst maintaining positive client relationships throughout.
