Contracts Manager - The Company:
Our client is a fast growing Property Services contractor in the UK, and one of the major players in the sector both in terms of geographical coverage and our directly employed workforce.
The group has grown since then to offer a full spectrum of property services including: refurbishment to local authority owned stock, Planned and Project works, Roofing, Passive and Active Fire Protection, Kitchen and Bathroom Replacements, Multi-Disciplinary Fabric Upgrades, Retrofit and Energy Services and Response and Void Maintenance Contracts, delivered by expert, directly employed teams and sub-contractors. Their largest sectors are Social Housing and public sector contracts.
Contracts Manager - The Role:
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager to join the team based from the Exeter office, covering Devon. You will be responsible for leading a social hosing planned maintenance contract

• Ensure all Site Managers have the relevant experience and ability to manage their allocated projects.
• Manage daily running of contracts to complete work to quality, time and cost constraints
• Ensure Health and Safety policies, procedures, safe working practices and risk assessments are effectively communicated to all site staff and contractors.
• Conduct specific and generic risk assessments on all operations where applicable
• Positively endorse the H&S culture and values.
• Co-operate openly with any accident/incident investigations and report any
  accidents/incidents within 24 hours.
• Respond in a timely manner to any branch or site non-compliance.
• Understand and implement safe systems of work
• Mobilise allocated projects
• Understand and manage programme of works
• Ensure we meet and exceed customer expectations in terms of service, reliability, quality and responsiveness.
• Manage workforce productivity ensuring targets are set and issued before work starts
• Ensure quality procedures are followed and all aspects of the work exceed customer expectations.
• Communicate with site teams and workforce so they know what is expected of them
• Understand how to influence and act upon poor performance
• Communicate within Branch regarding costs and progress, explaining any variances

Contracts Manager - The Person

• The successful candidate will have experience running framework contracts, maintenance & refurbishment
• Experience working on public sector contracts or Social housing stock
• Experience working for main contractors (rather than Housing associations)
• Currently reside within the Dorset area, commutable to Exeter (WITHOUT RELOCATION)
