Their client base is predominantly with local authorities and social housing. They are partnered with their clients to promote energy efficiencies, provide repairs and maintenance services and build long term client relationships.
My client is seeking an Contracts Manager to look after the South West Region and this is an exciting time to join due to a large contract going live very shortly which is a 20 year contract offering full asset management across all maintenance and repair works. This contract has got a lot of opportunity to grow it further.
You must have a good understanding of construction methods in refurbishment to be solely responsible for all projects within your region.

The role of a Contracts Manager:
- To oversee smooth running of projects and site managers and direct and indirect labour
- To ensure health and safety is being carried out and followed on site
- To ensure all work being carried out is in line with LCB standards and meets compliance
- To monitor stock levels and ensure orders are correct and to specifications ready for the projects to take place
- Maximise delivery of projects and to be working to the agreed budget and KPI’s agreed by the customer
- To communicate well with internal stakeholders and external labour
- Produce programmes, weekly reports and progress reports
