SalaryWe are looking for a Control Room Operator to work as part of an established team based in Sandwell Council’s CCTV Control Room.
To work as part of a team that monitor and operate all systems within Sandwell Council’s state of the art Control Room in an efficient and proactive manner. Systems to include; CCTV, radio, door-entry control and intercom communications.
You would be required to gather evidence of breaches of tenancy, anti-social behaviour and acts of a criminal nature as well as to communicate with and assist residents, members of the public and all partners as required.
SIA licence preferred but not essential as training may be offered to candidates with transferable skills.
Education:
- Level 2 Certificate for CCTV Operatives (Public Space Surveillance) B-Tech or equivalent
A starting salary of £25000 (pro rated) a year as well as other benefits such as generous holiday allowance and pension contributions come with the role.

Hours
29.51 hours per week
