An excellent engineering organisation based in Birmingham that has a global team of over 4000 employees who’re one of the world leaders in the design and manufacturing of Food PackagingIndustry are now seeking to hire for a brand new Controls Team Leader who has a background in Embedded Software Engineering to join the hugely popular and successful organisation on a permanent basis. This brilliant organisation performed extremely well during the COVID-19 pandemic whereby no employee was made redundant, no employee was put on furlough in return great positivity throughout the business that experienced an additional 105 new hires, company profit and employees were received salary bonuses between 2-6%. The Controls Team Leader role would suit an Embedded Software/Controls Systems Engineering professional who has the right attitude, professional and enthusiasm that is seeking to progress and move further up within their career to become Team or is suited for someone that is currently a Team Lead.
Salaries on offer:
The salary on offer for the successful Controls Team Leader is £50,000 - £56,000per annum, depending on skillset and experience.
The purpose of the role:
The purpose of this role is for the Controls Team Leader to lead the product team, consisting of software and electrical engineers, to present control systems design and development backing for the organisation’s multiple engineering products.
Controls Team Leader Key Skills:
- Minimum of 5+ years industry experience
- Experience with ‘C’ programming in an embedded real-time environment
- Present and previous experience of Team Leadership, team management, coaching, mentoring & project management
- Experience of managing a high level of workload and required to prioritise tasks accordingly.
- Experience of Java/C++/Qt – Are bonus nice to have skills
