Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join our Liverpool FC team as Manager E-Commerce UX Optimisation. We are looking for an individual to be responsible for developing and maintaining the UX and CRO strategy for LFC Retail E-Commerce platforms. This involves identifying opportunities for growth, working with the wider E-Commerce team to formulate and measure complex AB/multivariate tests and well as wireframe and create new product components and landing pages.

What will you be doing?

Testing and Experimentation

  • Plan and deliver the Retail department’s conversion optimisation strategy
  • Plan and deliver the Retail department’s AB/multivariate testing strategy using industry-leading tools such as Dynamic Yield
  • Research trends in e-commerce and stay informed about new technologies to deliver consistent improvement to user experience, year on year
  • Attend local and online seminars relating to personalisation and UX

Personalisation

  • Identify segments of users or areas of the user journey for optimization
  • Use a range of tools and the wider business context to create optimised experiences for relevant user segments
  • Feed into the Club’s wider personalisation strategy

UX and New Features

  • Monitor user journeys to spot points of friction and opportunities for improvement and revenue growth
  • Help scope new features and assist in the testing of deployments
  • Help problem-solve and troubleshoot bugs and store issues

Planning, Reporting and Analysis

  • Analyse results and collate feedback to be presented to the wider team and department management
  • Compile daily, weekly and seasonal reports on store performance where related to UX and CRO
  • Execute ad-hoc reports/analytics on request.

Who are we looking for?

To be successful in this role, you will need attention to detail and a good level of written English. It is essential you have experience in similar UX/CRO based role as well as E-commerce experience, preferably within a sport/lifestyle brand and an interest in all things digital. You will have the ability to create front end components using HTML, CSS and vanilla Javascript and the ability to design user journeys, maximising conversion potential. You will also have experience with Trello, Jira, Gitlab or similar tools as well as Proficiency in UX tools such as Figma, Adobe XD or Sketch and be Comfortable creating and interpreting reports using tools such as Google Analytic, GA4, digital analytics tools. You will display excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be both a creative and analytical mindset and an instinct for good UX/UI. You will have experience working towards and reporting on KPIs and targets and be confident creating tickets for third party development agencies with robust acceptance criteria.
