My client, a large North West based law firm with offices throughout the UK are seeking to appoint a Conveyancing Assistant to join their Property team in Wigan supporting their Property team.
On a day-to-day basis you will be the support to the Residential and team providing secretarial and admin support to enable them to operate at Maximum efficiency. This will include supporting the department with a caseload of sale and purchase conveyancing transactions from inception to completion. You will keep the case management system up to date in real time liaising with third parties including solicitors, estate agents and customers, Management of Legal Documents, Ensure the safe and confidential storage of sensitive information, Address queries from clients, solicitors, lenders, and estate agents and Maintain effective communication channels to ensure a smooth work flow.
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience in a legal support role, particularly within Residential Conveyancing.
Well-organised with excellent attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency in relevant legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
This is a full time position working Monday to Friday and can expect a salary ranging from £20-25k
