Here at Simpson Judge we are proud to be assisting a long standing client of ours in Shrewsbury in their search for an experienced Residential Property Conveyancing Assistant.
Are you a hands on and experienced legal Secretary or Legal Assistant that is looking for a new challenge with in the conveyancing market? our client would like to speak with Assistants who have at least 12 months experience in a conveyancing department, and that have some if not all of the below day to day duties:
Set up files including AML checks;
Commission surveys and subsequent reports;
Deal with all aspects of sales and purchase transactions from first instructions to post completion filing of SDLT return at HMRC and registration of title at Land Registry;
Liaise throughout with surveyors, estate agents, clients and other side solicitors;
Attending client meetings (Video meetings at present)to take notes and to action matters arising
Liaising with clients and other professionals to assist the solicitor team.
There is routes of progression with in the firm, however this role is a supporting role on a one on one basis for at least 12 months.
