Our client are seeking a Conveyancing Assistant to join their busy Conveyancing Department. You'll be a crucial part of a thriving team, supporting a Conveyancing Team Leader and Conveyancer to ensure seamless client experiences throughout transactions.
Responsibilities:
- File opening and accompanying procedures, to include production of confirmation of instruction letters, updating central records and the entering of entities and capacities on each new client/matter file
- Updating cases
- Co-ordinating exchange of contracts
- Applying for searches on purchase transactions
- Preparing Contract documentation for the clients to sign
- Preparing the accounts packages and co-ordinating completions
- Dealing with the post-completion work
- Deal with incoming calls from clients, estate agents and solicitors
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a similar paralegal role within conveyancing essential.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm, hard work, and initiative.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to complete tasks promptly.
- Excellent attention to detail.
