Form of workMy client, an online conveyancing firm with a high street office and almost 20 years of experience, is now looking to expand the team by bringing onboard Trainee Conveyancers, with the opportunity to become Licensed.
There are currently 16 people within the team who are all fee-earning. The office is based in Macclesfield, and you would ideally be based locally and able to be visible in the office. The office is a nice space with a bar upstairs and a pool table.
Responsibility for this role would include supervising junior members of the team as well as supporting the Directors with tasks such as finances, strategy, profitability, and efficiency gradually over time. Your caseload would be a maximum of 75 files, across residential sale and purchases, transfer of equity, and remortgage transactions.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents and other 3rd parties such as search companies, Land Registry, Local Councils & property management companies
- Drafting reports on title registers, mortgage offers and search results
- Engaging with new clients from quotes through to onboarding, setting up new files on our CMS and identification requirements
- Registering applications through Land Registry and other post-completion duties
No conveyancing experience or qualifications necessary but welcomed, as you will be joining the internal Licensed Conveyancer Program. You will be assigned a Training Mentor who will monitor your development, provide one-to-one help and guidance across a twelve-month period.
A basic salary of up to £27,000 without qualifications, as well as a bonus scheme in place which will see you earn over 15% once target has been achieved. Fee Earners within this team are earning up to £50,000.
