Our client, a growing and successful firm, are looking to recruit a professional and highly organised Conveyancing Legal Assistant to join their dynamic team in Battle.
This is a 2 - 4 week contract role, Monday - Friday and will be an immediate start.

Responsibilities as a Conveyancing Legal Assistant
To support the Fee Earner by providing legal assistance to conveyancers and clients.
Actioning legal procedures as directed.
Dealing with file related queries either face to face or by telephone.
Process matters in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Maintaining files by effective file management.
Dealing with clients efficiently and politely and that appropriate legal matters are raised with Fee Earner.
Attend to clients, take instructions and conducting letter and telephone enquiries as necessary.
To improve and enhance the company's client base by effective liaison with existing clients.
Manage own work allocation, productivity and quality of work with minimum supervision.
Comply with all, company policies and procedures
Required Experience
Ability to audio type and has experience in a Legal Assistant role are essential
Must be available to start immediately
Good communication skills with the confidence to liaise openly and clearly with colleagues and clients.
Can produce high quality work (with excellent accuracy and attention to detail), even when sometimes under pressure
Working knowledge of computers and software with good keyboard skills
Practical experience of handling client enquiries both face to face and by telephone
Working knowledge of Conveyancing ideal but not essential
Job Title: Conveyancing Legal Assistant
Location: Battle
Salary: £12 - £15 per hour (depending on experience)
Full Time: Monday - Friday
Contract role for 2 - 4 weeks
