Therefore, a few years of experience working as a Conveyancing Legal Secretary is essential.
Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative and paralegal support to the solicitor dealing with residential conveyancing matters
• Assisting with the opening, progression and closure of residential conveyancing files
• Drafting and preparing legal documents and contracts
• Liaising with clients, estate agents and solicitors
• Preparing Land Registry applications
• Preparing completion statements
• Researching matters of law relevant to transactions
• Keeping up-to-date with changes in the law
Requirements:
• A minimum of two years" experience in a similar role
• Knowledge and experience of residential conveyancing
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• Professional, friendly and approachable
