SalaryThe focus of the role is the assessment of in-patients with COPD to optimize therapies and support and educate patients managing a long-term health condition. Patients are seen on wards and in clinic situations. Updating and educating ward staff and all members of the multi-disciplinary is an integral part of the role, and we are regularly shadowed in our role. We work closely with the Centre for Excellence in Respiratory (CERS) and the successful candidate will be required to participate in quality improvement projects and presentations. We remotely monitor patients discharged from hospital with Covid-19 and provide telephone support and advice.
