Transaction Services Director opportunity within a leading UK Accountancy & Advisory Firm offering a chance to build and lead an M&A Transaction Services offering and progress to Partner in the next few years.

The firm is renowned as a leading Advisor to SME and Mid-market Corporate businesses, offering the highest quality Audit & Assurance, Tax Advisory, Restructuring and M&A / Corporate Finance solutions to its clients.
THE OPPORTUNITY
The firm continues to expand to meet client demands and is now looking to appoint a Corporate Finance Director to build and lead an M&A Transaction Services offering, focusing on the mid-market deal space (c.£5m - £100m EV deals) across the North of England. As the focal point for multiple offices acting for entrepreneurial SME and Mid-Market Corporate businesses, the opportunities to advise on Acquisitions, Mergers and Disposals will be numerous and a team operating across the North is envisaged over the next few years.
As Transaction Services Director your responsibilities will include:
- Building and leading a Transaction Services offering across initially the Northwest region, based in Manchester
- Managing a growing team of Transaction Services professionals and ensuring delivery of high-quality services to clients
- Managing Financial Due Diligence processes including analysis of financial statements, assessment of risks and opportunities involved in proposed transactions
- Providing Transaction Support expertise on M&A transactions, supporting in negotiations and deal structuring
- Developing relationships with ABL's, Lenders, Credit Funds and PE / VC Investors operating in the lower / mid-market environment across the region
- Initially project managing engagements, supported by a small team and leading from the front
- Developing the Transaction Services offering into a high performing department within the firm, fostering strong working relationships with Partners and Offices to integrate Transaction Service offering into the firms activities across the region.

THE PERSON
You will be a Corporate Finance Advisory professional able to demonstrate the following:
- ACA / ACCA Qualified Accountant with a background in either Top Tier Accountancy Practice or Independent Corporate Finance practice
- Significant Corporate Finance (Transaction Services) experience, 5 - 7 years minimum
- Good deal process management skills, able to manage relationships with clients, funders and other advisors
- Strong team mentoring, development and leadership skills
