James George Recruitment has partnered with a highly regarded Accountancy Practice in their search for an additional Corporate Finance Executive to join their team.

What does the role involve?

- The underlying theme in most of the work you will be involved in is shareholder changes.

- The transactional services include business sales and acquisitions that can take many forms; trade sales, private equity, management-buyouts, management buy-ins, employee ownership trusts and many other ways for existing shareholders to achieve an exit.

- Another key area of the work portfolio is business valuations, which can be required for a range of fiscal and non-fiscal reasons.

- No two days are the same. One day you could be dealing with due diligence for business sales and acquisitions, including meeting with clients to guide them through the process; the next drafting valuation reports, contacting prospective clients, to preparing forecasts and projections.

- You could be conducting market research, supporting the wider team on projects, and will have lots of contact at client meetings supporting the team.

- Due to the nature of the role the ability to adapt to emerging tasks and changing priorities is essential.

The successful candidate:

- Have at least three years’ Corporate Finance, Audit or Accounting experience, ideally in a Practice environment

- Have achieved your ACA/ACCA qualification

- Have a full driving license and access to independent transport

- Be a team player who enjoys working as part of a busy team to achieve team targets

- Be able to demonstrate strong commercial acumen

- You will be personable, conscientious, and committed. You will enjoy or have a passion to develop the business as well as the technical knowledge and know how to support our clients.
