About us

The Corporate Finance function at our UK base in Chirk, Wrexham plays a key role in supporting local and global operations to deliver industry leading returns.
Chirk is located in the beautiful countryside of North East Wales, and has excellent transport links to local cities Chester, Liverpool and Manchester.
We are looking for a high-calibre qualified accountant to join our Corporate Finance team.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Utilising MS Office Suite & bespoke software to a very high standard, you will be responsible for accurately gathering, and analysing group and other financial data in order to prepare reports and presentations for senior executives

• Managing and developing cross border relationships with stakeholders across the Kronospan businesses.

• Responsible for the team members and their development

• Negotiating terms on new and existing finance facilities

• Preparation of business plans for internal and external stakeholders

• Preparation of financial models for investment appraisal and financial forecasts

• Manage routine and ad-hoc reporting

Requirements

• Some international travel will be required

• The successful candidate will develop a broad range of skills, knowledge and experience via significant involvement in projects relating to global acquisitions and new investments

• You will be ambitious, committed, and commercially astute.

• Must hold an ACA or CIMA qualification

• Previous experience of a financial modelling, Corporate Finance or business planning role

• Strong numerical, analytical and strategic thinking skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Independent thinker, confident in using your own initiative to meet targets in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
