Full corporate control of a newly launched fund
I've partnered with an Investment Management firm who are in a very exciting stage of their journey, having launched their first fund within the last two years, they already have several billion AUM deployed. Investing in multiple asset classes and geographies, and across the whole capital structure, their approach has seen them continue to go from strength to strength - with a very high growth trajectory predicted over the next few years.
With the current team member going on leave, the business are now looking for a Corporate Controller to join on a 12 month basis. This is a role for a true self-starter, who is not afraid to get stuck in and 'hit the ground running'. With some oversight of outsourced accountants, this is a sole-charge position where you can take full ownership of the role and really make it your own. With this in mind, you will have a keen eye for detail, and be able to work to yuor own initiative with minimal guidance.

- Financial reporting
- Assisting with audit
- Tax compliance
- Management reporting
- Preparation of board packs
Your profile:
- Big 4 trained (essential)
- ACA qualified (essential)
- Experience in the Investment Management sector, ideally PE/Private Credit
- Technically strong - demonstrated experienced in a Controllership role
This role would be best suited to someone ~7-15 years post-qualified, ideally coming from a mid-size firm. While the infrastructure is in place, being a newly launched fund there may be some need to ensure the robustness of certain structures and controls to secure the smooth running of the financial processes you will be overseeing.
