EXPERIENCE:
- Have at least 7 years PQE + experience within Finance, Real Estate Finance, Acquisition/Leverage Finance or Asset Based Lending.
- Have enthusiasm, resilience, and ambition to find solutions to clients' legal challenges and requirements.
- Be experienced in engaging with internal and external stakeholders of all levels.
- Adopt a consultative and thorough approach to tasks.
- Maintain efficient diary and task management across a range matters, ensuring the accuracy and levels of client service expected within a high performing team.
- Be confident in drafting clear and legally effective documents, which reflect the client's instructions.
THE ROLE:
- We are looking for a Senior Corporate Associate to join the Manchester Corporate Finance team and help support the ever-growing roster of Finance clients.
- You will be working closely with the head of the Corporate Finance team, acting for a wide variety of banks and financial institutions, other lenders, sponsors and private and public corporates.
- Our finance practice is known for its quality and breadth of expertise. As one of the most established multi-disciplinary teams of any law firm, we give clients the confidence they need to succeed.
- Work on a variety of financing matters and as a minimum, you can expect to gain experience in a broad range transactional finance including leveraged finance, real estate finance, corporate debt, infrastructure and asset-based lending.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
- You will advise and act as the core panel for all UK clearing banks and have exposure to large and high-profile local, UK and international transactions.
- As well as the lender-side work, assist corporate borrowers on high value, high profile and often complex transactions.
- Working with existing clients to maintain and develop relationships, capable of providing timely and quality advice whilst managing expectations.
- Supporting and stretching environment and therefore you can expect to take a leading role on most matters.
