looking for a temp to run the office management of London office in London Bridge - hybrid 2 days a week in office

Corporate Operations Manager but it’s really ensuring smooth running of the office in the interim with liaison with the Milan & Romania offices (which don’t have that function).

For this newly created department we are seeking a Corporate Operations Manager to help us build and establish the department within our fast growing group. The role holds a wide range of responsibilities about facility management, governance, risk & compliance, and procurement. The role will report into the Group Head of Corporate Operations and liaise with other departments in the group.

Core Responsibilities
Facility Management:
• Own the facility management for our London Office and all UK locations, including
Health & Safety requirements, management of maintenance, security and
cleanliness.
• Support global facility management operations where applicable.
• Collaborate with relevant teams to optimize space utilization and ensure a safe
and conducive working environment.
• Oversee facility upgrades, renovations, and expansions, ensuring compliance with
industry standards and regulations.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
• Manage office supplies, equipment, and coordinate facility maintenance.

Procurement:
• Support in the development and implementation of procurement strategies to
optimize cost savings and efficiency.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure favourable terms and agreements.
• Collaborate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and
ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Own the supplier onboarding process, including supplier risk assessment.
• Evaluate supplier performance and implement improvements as necessary.
Governance, Risk & Compliance:
• Support the function in ensuring compliance with local, state and federal
regulatory requirements as well as industry standards.
• Support the corporate risk management and compliance agenda and framework
to ensure corporate policies are kept relevant and group risk management
objectives are achieved.
• Play key role in supporting the change management agenda from a corporate
operation perspective.
Corporate Support:
• Foster effective communication within the company, ensuring that information is
disseminated accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align corporate support activities with
organizational objectives.
• Act as a liaison between different departments to facilitate smooth
communication and collaboration.

Essential Skills & Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in Business Administration, Operations
Management, or a related field.
• Demonstrate strong business & commercial acumen.
• Proven experience in operations management or related field, with a focus on
facility management, procurement, and risk and compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate
effectively across departments and with third parties.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Attendance in our London Office at least 2 days/week.

Desirable Skills & Requirements
• Strong understanding of business regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong Italian and/or Romanian cultural understanding and language skills
