Base Location: Flexible Ireland
Salary: €56,500 - €84,700 depending on skills and experience + car allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

About the Role
At SSE Renewables, safety is our number one priority. It's at the heart of everything we do. Reporting to the Offshore SHW Manager for Ireland, you will provide safety support to all SSE Renewables Irish offshore projects both in development and execution phases.
Some of your main accountabilities will include;
- Support the Offshore SHW Manager for Ireland in delivering SSE Renewables Safety Family requirements in line with the SSE Safety Family Programme, ensuring this is delivered in a clear and consistent manner including working with contractors to develop stronger, safer and respectful relationships.
- Provide support, guidance and advice to Offshore Project Managers, Package Managers, and project team members.
- Develop and implement across the Irish offshore project portfolio, a suite of SHW documents and templates to be used as a consistent standard for offshore SHW support and delivery.
- Ensuring project compliance with all applicable safety legislation.
- Complete due diligence exercises, SHW assessments / audits of businesses, organisations and contractors as and when applicable.
What do I need?
To be successful in this role, you must have;
- A degree level in Occupational Health and Safety Management.
- Offshore/marine development and construction experience and extensive working knowledge of Irish safety regulations
- Be a registered member of IOSH or equivalent accrediting body (or be willing to work towards).
- Excellent communication skills with a natural flair for forging relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking, with the ability to address complex issues by making them simple through to a well-structured systematic approach, understand risks and implement appropriate solutions.
Travel to various sites will be required as part of this role, therefore, a full and valid driving licence is essential.
