Health And Safety Advisor

Workplace Safety Solutions Ltd are a well established and dynamic Health And Safety management consultancy, based in Basildon Essex. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an additional Health and Safety Advisor, to provide professional Health And Safety consultancy services to a range of clients from diverse sectors.

The main responsibitlities include providing professional consultancy Health And Safety services, developing and maintaining existing business accounts, and identifying and following up potential business leads. 

The contracted place of work is the offices of Workplace Safety Solutions, however you will be expected to work/visit various client locations as directed.

Are you what were looking for? You will have/need:

• At least 4 years’ experience as an H&S professional with a proven and demonstrable track record of providing advisory/consultancy services 
• Experience of developing and maintaining relationships with clients, together with implementing and maintaining Health And Safety policies/management systems is necessary.
• You would need to have completed NEBOSH Construction Certification (as a minimum).

Knowledge/skills;

• Thorough/detailed understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental management systems and their implication/application to individual sectors.
• Good understanding of HSE legislation.
• Good understanding of ISO management systems (9001/14001/45001)
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure prioritising tasks in order to meet deadline.
• Comfortable in the use of Microsoft Office programmes.
• Ability to demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Full driving licence.
