SalaryAn enthusiastic and driven tax accountant is required to join the Corporate Tax team within a leading firm, based in either Norwich or Ipswich with hybrid working.
You will be managing a portfolio of Corporate Tax clients and giving tax planning advice, drafting Self-Assessment tax returns, reviewing the returns prepared by colleagues and providing proactive tax planning advice to clients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of Corporate Tax Self-Assessment tax returns
- Reviewing Corporate Tax returns and computations prepared by team members
- Supporting the tax managers / partners
- Assisting with tax advisory work
- Managing workload and client expectations
- Working within budgets set at the planning stage
- Overseeing staff in preparation of tax returns and computations, providing training where required and assisting with their development
- Ensuring the efficient use of appropriate software packages
- Maintain a good working relationship with clients
- Have an active role in business development, and promoting the firm in the local area
Education and qualifications
- ACA, ACCA, CTA (or equivalent).
- Significant experience within practice
- Experience of preparation of Corporate Tax returns
- Experience of preparing and reviewing technically complex advice
- Ability to work flexibly as part of a team
