Compliance is no longer a commodity service for companies and it is a huge source of potential risk, but also positive change and innovation for clients, if handled correctly. Our client is building a strong reputation for success in compliance services (which includes best practice and technology advice) and so they have roles for people who love to deliver compliance, but also project managers, relationship managers and anyone with a UK Corporate Tax background who is passionate about helping clients manage their risk.
You can work with clients in one or more of the following sectors/work streams at as a Compliance specialist:
* Mid Markets
* FTSE 100 Companies
* Inbound MNC
* Financial Services
* M&A Tax
There are three distinct types of role within the Compliance team, so something for everyone:
* Corporate Tax Compliance
* Hybrid advisory / compliance (roughly 60/40)
* Managed services compliance (would suit someone moving back from in house)
Where Can You Be Based?
There are currently team members at 8 different sites across the UK and our client is location agnostic (more focused on getting the right talent than looking at location).
Desirable Skills:
- Strong UK Corporate Tax skills
- Preferably hold an accountancy or tax professional qualification (e.g. ACA, ATT, CTA or similar) or have demonstrable knowledge and skills that these qualifications provide.
- Has a highly developed client service ethos and ability to adopt a flexible approach to meeting client needs.
- Be able to establish, build and maintain a good working relationship with a range of stakeholders and senior client personnel
- Have the ability to help manage and build new business through referrals, networking and spotting client opportunities
- Be an effective delegator and strong coach for more junior staff
