Within the manufacturing operations side of the business, the company is looking to recruit a strong Cost Accountant.
Responsibilities include

• Manage all inventory accounting across ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards with responsibilities
• Annual standard cost setting process: Responsible for co-ordinating the year end standard cost roll and inventory revaluation process
• Lead point of contact for all inventory audit requests
• Review and approve proposed routing changes and new inventory items
• Assisting the team with the annual budgeting process and other ad hoc queries / projects
• Work with finance and operations team to assist in helping to drive savings through analysis on recipe or routing changes

Experience required

• CIMA or ACCA qualified is desirable, active studiers with experience will be considered
• Experience of finance, within manufacturing operations, in a standard cost environment and showing understanding of manufacturing variances.
• Cost accounting experience in ERP systems
• Candidates from an Audit background will be considered

• Strong data interpretation and thriving on finding new ways to do things smarter and faster
• Able to deal effectively and communicate well with multiple stakeholders
