The aim of the role is to ensure the accurate and timely accounting for stock purchases.

Job spec:

• Processing of stock invoices and related freight invoices
• Ensuring accurate stock valuation
• Liaise with third party entities to resolve invoice queries.
• Preparing payment proposals
• Booking of stock invoices from overseas suppliers
• Matching to corresponding freight and duty invoices
• Checking of result stock valuation
• Partnering with Purchasing Team to investigate and resolve of discrepancies.
• Preparation of payment proposals to ensure timely supplier foreign exchange payments.

Person spec:

• Experience of processing purchase ledger and accounting for stock purchases
• High attention to detail
• Good Excel capability and experience of using an ERP system would be an advantage
