Costa Supervisor (Maestro)

As a Costa Barista Supervisor at Sodexo in Doncaster Royal Infirmary, you are a master multitasker and a quality-of-life improver. What you’ll do: 

Lead and coordinate activities of maintenance workers or service employees   
Perform regular Barista duties and be a valued member of the team when needed, this includes  preparing and serving fresh, hot beverages from our Costa outlet 
Monitor employee productivity and provides suggestions for increased service or productivity 
Coordinate routine responsibilities and assign specific work or functional activities 
Responsible for orientation and training of employees   
Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolution 

What you bring: 

Previous supervisory experience  
Barista experience 
Positive attitude and the ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professional and respect  
Provide clear directions and respond accordingly to employees  
Willingness to be open to learning and growing

Main Responsibilities
Supervise the daily running of the Unit
Cash control management/ stock taking & unit ordering will be part of the role
Sales & invoices entered onto accounting ystem
To deliver the highest levels of customer service in line with Brand standards
To produce and serve all drinks to Brand standards and Recipes
To maintain standards of Health, Safety and Cleanliness
Maintain stock levels/availability by replenishing display/fridges with company guidelines
To operate the till in line with Brand till operation and cash handling procedures
To sell and demonstrate product knowledge by advising the customer/answering quires and suggesting products. Act on initiative to optimize sales to the customer
