Job Description
- Developing cost models for new and existing products globally and be the SME on costings.
- Working closely with the supply chain team and others to understand cost drivers for manufacturing globally.
- Analysing cost trends and making recommendations for cost improvements.
- Risk managment and market trends and reporting
- Supporting the procurement team in supplier negotiations.
- Providing costings input into strategic decision making.
- Work cross functionally with various departments in financial reporting and updating on costings
- Coordinating with different departments to ensure accurate product costings.
- Presenting costings data to management and key stakeholders.
- Ensuring costings compliance with regulatory requirements.
The Successful Applicant
A successful candidate should have:
- Experience within a manufacturing environment
- Exposure to NPI projects and procurement
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, working with stakeholders globally.
- A proactive approach and the ability to work well in a team.
- Knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes.
