Council Tax and Housing Benefit Telephone Customer Service Officer required for our public sector client to work on a Hybrid basis
Client Local Authority in Ealing.
Job Title: Council Tax and Housing Benefit Telephone Customer Service Officer
Pay Rate: PAYE £19.49ph
Hours 35 Hours a week (Mon-Fri) Hybrid - Possible 3 days working in the office, 2 days working from home.
Duration: 3 months
Purpose of the Role:
1. To provide a comprehensive and in-depth telephone service for Council Tax and Housing benefit/Council Tax support enquiries.
2. To ensure that all contacts receive a good customer experience, in a professional, timely and courteous manner at all times.
3. To explain both housing benefit/ Council Tax support entitlement to the customer to enable them to agree to the appropriate Council Tax payment arrangement.
4. To accurately update/amend accounts/claims with regard to agreed procedures.
5. To facilitate and promote the use of online services to Ealing residents i.e. Myaccount.
6. Possesses a good working knowledge of Council Tax and/or housing benefit/Council Tax support legislation.
