Job Description
- Direct and manage Counterparty Credit Risk activities.
- Create and implement a framework to monitor and measure counterparty risk in the London portfolio.
- Design and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and report on counterparty risk exposures.
- Provide expert advice on Credit Risk to other departments.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to Counterparty Credit Risk.
- Contribute to the development of risk management policies and procedures.
- Lead and mentor a team of risk professionals.
- Participate in strategic planning and decision-making at the executive level.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Counterparty Credit Risk Director should have:
- An advanced degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Significant experience in Counterparty Credit Risk management.
- A broad knowledge of traded risk
- Strong knowledge of financial markets and financial products.
- In-depth understanding of relevant regulations and standards.
- Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to make sound decisions.
