Countryside Estate Ranger, Ref: EE08823
Salary: G7 £31,364 - £35,745 per annum.
Fixed Term Contract for 12 months.

Do you understand the importance of delivering events, training and activities about our natural environment?
If so, we are looking for someone like you to join our supportive team as a Countryside Estate Ranger with Walsall Council.
As well as partaking in the above, you will undertake planned and reactive maintenance and habitat management works, manage volunteers, undertake patrols of local nature reserves and countryside sites and deal with routine maintenance issues.
With sound ecological knowledge and knowledge of woodland management, competency in the use of tools and machinery and experience of working with volunteers, you should hold a relevant environmental/land based conservation level 2 diploma or have significant and relevant experience.
