Job description

Are you looking for varied summer role, where no two days are the same? Would you thrive in a busy environment, working across different departments to support the smooth operation of a residential summer centre? If this sounds like you, we’d love you to join our dedicated team of Course Assistants, working on our UK based residential young learner courses this summer.

As a Course Assistant, you will:

  • Handle tasks office tasks such as photocopying, filing and preparing staff and student ID cards.
  • Support in manning the course office and provide support and assistance to staff and students as required.
  • Assist with the packing and unpacking of resources to ensure they are readily available for use during the course.
  • Assist with the administration of the airport transfer service to ensure a smooth service to arriving and departing students.
  • Assist with activities, study tours, and meal supervision duties as required.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative working environment.

About You

We are looking for candidates who are:

Organised You demonstrate strong organisational skills and can confidently manage your busy workload efficiently and effectively

IT proficient You can expertly navigate the Office suite, including Excel, Word and Outlook, and can confidently pick up new software and systems.

Resourceful You are a natural problem solver, able to adapt to new situations, work on your own initiative and find solutions that help the course to run smoothly.

Team Players You work effectively with team members and contribute to a positive team environment, bringing energy and enthusiasm to your role.

Responsible You consistently prioritise the safety and well-being of our young learners and keep safeguarding at the heart of everything you do.
