SalaryOur client is seeking a Court of Protection paralegal to join their COP team near the city centre.
As a specialist, award winning Private Client practice, they have a specialist Court of Protection team that continues to benefit from its excellent reputation due to the high levels of service it offers its clients, the firm provides in house, bespoke training in the successful Paralegal will be able to participate in. They have a strong ethos of internal recruitment with opportunity for internal development and progression to other roles.
After two years as a paralegal, training contracts are available for those doing well in the paralegal role, and no further application process will be required.

You may have experience as a paralegal already or if you have no experience, be able to demonstrate an interest in mental capacity law through work experience or voluntary work. You will need to have successfully completed either a law degree or the PGDL.
The role involves attending client meetings to take notes and to action matters arising, research and drafting, including letters, court applications, witness statements etc, liaising with clients, the court and other professionals to assist the solicitor team and attending Court with solicitors or Counsel.
