A highly regarded law firm, is currently seeking a Senior Solicitor specialising in Court of Protection to join their team. As a Top Best Law Firm to work for, this law firm is known for their commitment to providing exceptional legal services in the field of Court of Protection.
In this role, the successful candidate will work as part of a specialised team, handling a diverse caseload of Court of Protection matters, including property and affairs management, and community care for clients who have received compensation through personal injury or medical negligence claims. As a Senior Solicitor, you will be responsible for managing your own caseload, maintaining client relationships, and supporting more junior members of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Taking the lead on a caseload of complex Court of Protection matters
- Providing support and guidance to more junior team members
- Managing client relationships and maintaining a high standard of customer service
- Upholding the values of empathy and expertise in all interactions with clients
- Contributing to the ongoing training and development of the team
Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 5 years' experience in Court of Protection matters
- Familiarity with time recording and meeting annual fee targets
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with vulnerable clients
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a willingness to support others in the team
- Experience in mentoring and training less-experienced team members
