Role Overview:
The successful candidate will become a core team member, providing vital legal advice and support to patients who lack the capacity to make decisions. Experience working with clients with brain injuries is advantageous. The role is primarily focused on property and affairs within the Court of Protection, differing from welfare issues.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualifications: Qualified Solicitor with NQ to 3 years PQE.
- Experience:
- Demonstrated experience within the Court of Protection.
- Capable of managing a caseload.
- Experience working with clients who lack capacity.
- Skills:
- Ambitious and proactive.
- Excellent ability to prioritize workload and tasks.
- Location: Manchester.
- Divisions: The office currently has three divisions: Court of Protection (COP), Personal Injury (PI), and Medical Negligence.
- Growth Strategy: The firm is relocating to larger premises to accommodate growth over the next 18 months.
