Tempest Resourcing are currently looking for experienced Cover Supervisors that are seeking work in secondary schools. We are working with a number of secondary schools and academies in Stockport, who are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors with a strong behaviour background. If you have patience, a great sense of humour, and are dedicated on improving the lives of young people, this opportunity may be for you.
CONTRACT DETAILS:
- Location - Stockport
- Job Title - Cover Supervisor
- Start date - ASAP
- Contract type - Temporary
- Full time and part time available
- Rate of pay - £80 - £110 per day (PAYE and Umbrella available)
- Hours - 8:15 am - 15:30 pm
THE ROLE:
- Taking the lead in the absence of the teacher
- Conduct pre-planned lessons
- Encourage learning
- Managing the behaviour within the classroom
- Managing handover back to the teacher
- A background or degree in science, English, ESOL, or sports would be beneficial
CANDIDATES MUST HAVE:
- 6 Weeks experience working with children in the UK
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- A nurturing and caring nature
- Excellent communication skills
- DBS on update register or be willing to process a new application
- References for last 2 years work history
