Prospero Teaching are actively seeking candidates for the role of a Cover Supervisor to work an Ofsted 'good', mixed secondary schools in Harrow , Inner London, starting immediately on a full-time or part time basis. This role is ideal for someone who is interested in working in the education sector and is seeking flexible work as we work around YOUR schedule and accommodate your needs.
What is a Cover Supervisor?
A Cover Supervisor is an unqualified cover teacher who can take on the responsibility of the full-time class teacher in their absence and is responsible for ensuring that the students complete the work set out by the teacher, monitoring the class, recording any behavioural issues, taking the register etc. There is no previous experience required for this role.
ABOUT THE SCHOOL
The demographic is reflective of the local area. The position is open to both experienced cover teachers as well as graduates with minimal education experience. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

- Hours - 8:30 am - 4pm, plus parents' evenings
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree - Preferred
- GCSE's
- A-Levels / BTEC
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year - you can apply to do our online safeguarding course
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS COVER SUPERVISOR ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional references
