We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Cover Supervisors to join our vibrant team across secondary schools in Billericay.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our schools by maintaining a positive and productive learning environment during teacher absences.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising classes effectively, ensuring students complete set tasks and remain focused.
- Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans and materials, adapting your approach to different age groups and subjects.
- Promoting positive engagement, fostering a respectful and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Providing individual support to students as needed, addressing concerns and encouraging their participation.
- Working collaboratively with teachers and other staff to ensure continuity of learning.
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and classroom activities.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have a confident and assertive approach to classroom management.
- Are adaptable and resourceful, able to think on their feet and handle diverse situations.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to safeguarding children.
- Previous experience working with children or in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
