The Trust are looking to appoint a suitably qualified Cover Supervisor to provide class cover when teaching staff are absent or unavailable, to ensure stability and continuity for pupils whose lessons are affected by the short-term absence of the teacher.

- Salary: Grade G scp: 19-22 (£25,927 - £27,514 pro rata per annum)

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring continuity for pupils when teachers are absent. Your dedication and enthusiasm will contribute to maintaining stability and fostering a constructive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage pupil behaviour according to academy policies
- Communicate teacher-set work effectively to students
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing feedback as needed
- Support teachers in delivering lessons and classroom supervision
- Assist with administrative tasks and clerical support

Working Hours:
- Term time only, 36 hours per week, Monday – Friday
- 8:00am to 3.45pm Monday to Thursday
- 8:00am to 3:30pm Friday
- Half an hour lunch break.
About You:
We're seeking someone with relevant experience and qualifications, who is highly committed and enthusiastic about education. The successful applicant will meet the following:
- Possesses a minimum of 2 years' experience in an educational setting, understanding the national curriculum and learning techniques
- Holds a Level 2 qualification in Maths/English, NVQ 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent, and is willing to undertake relevant training.
- Actively listens and communicates effectively, showing consistency and clarity in communication
- Respects diverse viewpoints, encourages collaboration, and adapts positively to changes, highlighting potential issues constructively
- Proficient in using ICT for routine purposes, with high expectations for all pupils and a commitment to building successful relationships with pupils and colleagues
