Cover Supervisors

Teacher Active are proud to be working with a brilliant Secondary School based in the Cardiff area who are looking for a top quality Welsh speaking Cover Supervisor to join their team full time!

The role is part time, multiple days per week but the candidate must be flexible as the days may vary. As a cover supervisor the work will already be planned and prepared for you but you are expected to teach the lesson to the highest standard. As this is a Welsh medium School the Cover Supervisor applying for this role must be Fluent Welsh Speaking.

The right cover supervisor will be kind, patient and enthusiastic in the classroom, whilst also having a good understanding of the general curriculum as you will be covering a wide range of subjects.

Experience working in a classroom environment is essential to the role but support can be provided. As the role would be within a secondary school good classroom management is also a must have.

The right Cover Supervisor will have:

• A relevant Qualification and/or 6 months experience working with children.

• A calm, caring and patient persona.

• Excellent organisational and administrative skills
