With the support of the Tees Valley Combined Authority, Teesside University is pleased to be recruiting for a Creative Producer to lead the development and delivery of a new, public-facing programme for Animex, our annual international festival of Animation, Visual Effects and Games.
Bringing their own knowledge and experience of festivals and creative events to the role, the post holder will work closely with our academic team to build upon the existing industry and student-facing offer to develop new audiences, engage the local community, and build a dynamic new programme to bring venues and sites across Middlesbrough to life during the Animex Festival.
Inspired by the possibilities of the worlds of gaming, animation and VFX, the Creative Producer will deliver publicly accessible and exciting works and events that engage our communities in these dynamic sectors, balancing income-generating opportunities with free-to-access content to make the Festival sustainable into the future.
This is an exciting new role with an opportunity to make a real impact in our local region. Applications from individuals wishing to work on a freelance basis may be considered. For more information or to discuss the role in more detail please contact Lauren Bradshaw (Deputy Director, Communications and Development) at l.bradshaw@tees.ac.uk; please note an online information session will be held for interested candidates, with details available on request.
