Seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Credit Administration Assistant to join the Finance team in Manchester. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing credit accounts, and ensuring the smooth functioning of credit-related processes.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and assess credit applications from clients.
  • Monitor and maintain credit limits for existing accounts.
  • Handle customer queries and concerns related to credit accounts.
  • Generate and process invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any billing discrepancies.
  • Maintain organised and up-to-date records of credit transactions.
  • Prepare reports on credit-related activities as required.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication regarding credit matters.
  • Provide regular updates on outstanding invoices and payment statuses.
  • Ensure compliance with company credit policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of credit management processes.

Profile

The Successful Candidate Requires:

  • Previous experience in Credit Administration or a related field is desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of credit management software is a plus.
