A growing Asset Finance team based in Blackburn, are now recruiting on a full-time permanent basis for a Credit Administrator, this is due to the development of internal progression the business. The working hours are 9am - 5pm between Monday to Friday, one day hybrid working with flexibility around hours (which are subject to business needs) and part time may be considered.
Your new role
As Credit Administrator you will expect will preview all new business opportunities presented for credit review. Your duties will include working closely with colleagues in Sales Support & Credit & Risk departments, the role holder will be required to oversee the initial stages of the financing process, ensuring that the service levels are met, and inputting proposals into a database following credit guidelines - identifying what level of supporting information is required prior to sending proposal through to the credit team to be underwritten.
Therefore, your responsibilities will include great communication, ensure all processes run at full capacity to meet deadlines and consistently in line with our processes to ensure high operational standards and provide regular feedback. You will be accepted to work collectively within a team to achieve best practice by offering solutions to any hurdles or issues.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, you will need a strong understanding and a good track record of having excellent attention to detail. Being able to identify any errors and to have the ability to second check work and to take ownership of the accuracy of data in all credit proposals.
All data received must be calculated correctly, therefore, a good track record of working to tight deadlines and managing multiple priorities. As well as tactfully and professionally overcoming objections, along with a basic knowledge of IT systems.
A pass level in both Maths and English GCSE.
