SF are working with a international organisation. This role is within their professional services arm of the business, that offers its clients bespoke and high level solutions. The business is going through a sustained period of growth, winning market share in the sector. They are looking for a professional and dynamic Credit Manager to join the business. Working on a specific portfolio of clients, managing a small team.
Your new role
- Proactively collecting payments on behalf of their clients, ensuring bad debts and risk is kept to a minimum
- Supporting in the debt recovery and legal procedures
- Resolving queries in a timely manner, working with internal stakeholders to escalate and resolve.
- Continuously looking for improvements, mentoring and leading the team to deliver results and meet customer SLAs and KPIs
- Raising invoices and issuing credit notes
- Reporting weekly and monthly to the Directors, keeping them in the loop with Cash forecasting, bad debts and escalations
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with other managers and members of the Client Finance team to ensure effective delivery of services in accordance with clients' requirements
- Participate in the selection, testing and implementation of new systems features to support Credit Control operations
- Contribute to the management of Client Finance as a whole.
What you'll need
- 5+ years experience in B2B Credit Control
- Experience in leading/supervising a small team
- Experience in Client accounting is desirable but not essential
- CICM/AAT qualified or studying towards
