Salary360 Search is delighted to be supporting this specialist insurer and reinsurer that has a presence both in London and internationally, boasting a financial rating of A, with GWP in excess GBP350M. Due to continued growth, it is seeking 2 Credit Control Premium Analysts, to work from its London city offices.
Reporting to the Operational Director, you will ensure that all premiums are calculated, chased, and recorded accurately in real-time. This will include bordereaux management for a delegated authority book of business, working closely with brokers to follow up on outstanding payments and the reconciliation of paid funds. You will also oversee premium adjustments and ensure outstanding funds are collected and accurately calculate any returns. All unaccounted premiums should be reviewed monthly and resolved by month end. In addition, you will perform annual calculations of the profit commissions in line with policy terms & endorsements and follow up with brokers to ensure any returned commissions are submitted. Part of your role will be to assist with the preparation of compliance reports ahead of time to ensure no late filings and you will also be responsible for the preparation of IPT returns.
To be considered, you will have several years' experience, dealing with premium management within a general insurance organisation. You will also have working knowledge of underwriting administration systems, along with being a competent user of Microsoft packages. It's imperative that you are able to build mutually beneficial working relationships with key stakeholders inside and outside of the business. This is an autonomous role, where you will deliver within tight deadlines.
In return, you will receive a basic salary up to GBP60K depending upon experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package including 27 days holiday, pension at 10% company contribution, 0% interest on season ticket loans.
