Job Description:
Reporting into the Finance Manager, the main purpose of the Credit Control Supervisor is to resolve all queries, ensure debtor days are kept within limits, make decisions regarding credit limits and assist with staff management.
Key duties include:
- Manage the Customers on Credit Terms and report on Aged Debt.
- Complete sales invoicing and month end processes, including generating reports, raising invoices/credits and quality checks as and when required.
- Identify any common queries/trends effecting customer service delivery and ensure solutions are created and executed in line with business plans.
- Generate and analyse reports; inc KPI’s, daily sales, and month end processes.
- Assist with the management of Sales Ledgers including resolving, monitoring, analysing and reporting of debit notes.
- Assist the Finance Manager with management responsibilities; such as recruitment, inductions, training, appraisals, development and performance management of sales ledger team.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal Credit Control Supervisor:
- MUST have recent and relevant experience in a similar role.
- Staff management is preferred but not essential. If you are an experienced Credit Controller looking for the next step up, your application will be welcomed.
- Will ideally have Sage 200 experience, (not essential).
- You’ll need to have excellent communication skills and good attention to detail.
- You must have good working knowledge of MS Office including Outlook, Word and Excel.
